Great story mode
Forza Street may have Forza on its name, but in reality, it is a
rebrand
of the Microsoft-released game,
Miami Street
. Microsoft took the core of the latter and gave it a
refreshed narrative

Forza Motorsport
, the game will throw you into the street-racing life with a complete garage of cars at your disposal. Forza Street has a
great story mode

and loads of opponents to go against.
When you play the story mode, you can meet new characters, unlock loads of cars, and be able to become a famous racer. On top of that, you can also
tune up
your collected vehicles to improve their performance. You can also
customize
the look of your garage. You start the game by
picking an event
. You will then
choose a lineup
from your collection of cars.
Each race starts out with a mini-game, where you will need to race off the starting line. With this, you get to take off at some speed. Each race won will reward you with a
car
that you can add to your collection. Forza Street lets you
race on your own terms
. You can dive into the story-driven events to win the cars you love. You can also squeeze in a fun quick

Forza Street comes with controls perfectly adapted to touchscreen devices. However, as mentioned, it
isn’t much a racer
. The gameplay is similar to the
CSR series

won’t have direct control
over your vehicle. There is

, and you can only use the gas and turbo buttons. If you are looking for a racing or

Essentially, the game is all about
timing
as you only need to watch out for corners—which are often hidden from view. You only need to know when to take your thumb off the gas or boost. This is basically what you will do in every racing event. To make it aggravating, the camera is
always moving
. This makes it harder to get the timing for the controls.
Forza Street is a free-to-play game, so expect

. There will be loot boxes, stamina system, and multiple types of in-game currency. There will also be an excruciatingly-long

Great game, but not for long
As with its PC counterpart, Forza Street provides players with overall
nice game visuals

. Moreover, since it is downloadable on smartphones, it is playable anywhere and anytime. However, its biggest drawback is that it tends to become

repetitive
with no steering and drifting that players may lose interest after playing for some time. In the end, it
does not live up
to its Forza name.
